How can I vote for the Board of Directors, and what are the voting deadlines?
There will be no voting at the AGM.

Members with personal accounts can choose from three options to cast your vote.
1. Online at scuvote.com  Use the ballot number and password printed on your AGM invitation letter, on or before March 3 at 11:59 p.m.
2. By mail. Complete and detach your Official Mail-in Voting Ballot and mail it back to SCU using the postage paid envelope before February 27.
3. In-person, at any branch. Complete and detach your Official Mail-in Voting Ballot and drop it in the voting box at any branch by end of business day, February 27.

Please note, all corporate ballots must be cast online only by 11:59 p.m. on March 3rd.

What do I need to vote
In order to vote in-branch or by mail, you will need to use the ballot provided to you in your voting package, which was sent by mail to all SCU member in January.

If you are voting online, you will need your Ballot number and password, which is found on the first page of your Main-in Voting Package. Business members also need their organization’s representative’s personal ballot number located on their individual voting ballot.

Is voting online secure?
The online voting site is a stand-alone system that is not directly attached to our database. There is no connection to your member account information. Your identifiers must be used to cast your vote. Once your vote is cast, you cannot vote again as an individual voter, by any method.

If you are an authorized representative for your corporation or organization, you can vote once more on behalf of the organization. As with all votes, only those authorized to handle the election  ballots will count the votes.

I’ve lost my ballot, how can I retrieve my Ballot number and password?
You can receive your identifiers, you Ballot Number and Password, by calling our Member Contact Centre at 1.800.728.6440 or by visiting an SCU branch and providing Identification.
