Potential Mail Disruption – May 23, 2025 update
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated a legal strike action, starting with a ban on overtime. As negotiations continue, a full strike could happen at any time and result in mail disruptions, including paper statements and other communication from us.

Get ready by going digital
In the event of a mail service disruption, we want to ensure that you are well-informed on your options. We encourage all members to take advantage of our digital services to stay connected and informed. This includes:
- Online banking and mobile app: Access your accounts, view eStatements, and complete transactions such as bill payments.
- Direct deposit: Ensure payroll, government benefits, or other payments are deposited automatically.
- Sign up for email: This is a great time to ensure we have your most recent email address on file, and that your email preferences are set to allow us to send you email communications.

Viewing your SCU Statements
- If you already have digital banking and need help getting started, please see our tutorials on how to set your statement preferences and view statements in digital banking.
- If you do not have access to digital banking, please contact us and we can help you get set up.
New or replacement SCU cards
If you need a new or replacement debit card, please visit any branch and a Member Services Representative can assist you.
SCU Collabria® Credit Cards
- New or replacement Collabria® credit cards: If you are expecting a replacement card, delays in delivery can be expected in the event of a postal disruption.
- Collabria rewards redemption: Rewards redemptions such as those for merchandise or gift cards requiring mail delivery may experience delays in delivery time.
- Paying your SCU Collabria Credit Card: During a postal disruption, you are responsible for making your minimum monthly payment by the payment due date to ensure your account remains in good standing.
We recommend that personal members use CardWise (online or mobile app) and that business members use MyCardInfo to view your account and payment details, and to sign up for e-statements. If you do not have access to CardWise or MyCardInfo:
