Not ready to go digital? Consider combining your statements

Beginning in spring 2024, there will be a monthly fee per paper statement printed ($2 for consumer accounts and $3 for business accounts). If you hold both single and joint accounts, you may be receiving multiple account statements each month. To combine them, fill out our SCU Statement Combining Form and send it to us one of four ways:

  1. Drop it off at your nearest SCU branch

  2. Fax it to 204.326.3102

  3. Scan and email it to

  4. Mail it to:

    Steinbach Credit Union
    Attn: Finance Department
    333 Main Street, Steinbach, MB R5G 1B1

We’ll start making the changes as soon as we receive your request. It may take more than one statement cycle for changes to take effect.

Why the switch to eStatements?

The decision was made to switch to eStatements after a recent process review.

Besides the positive impact this change has on our environment, choosing eStatements brings many benefits, including:
•    Less paper waste, less clutter, and less paperwork to file
•    Saves time, since statements can be viewed any time in digital banking
•    Members have access to up to seven years’ worth of statements

How will I know when my eStatement is ready for viewing?
Beginning October 1, 2023, members currently enrolled in digital banking will automatically be switched to receive eStatements only. If you have an email on file with us, you will receive an email notification each month when your eStatement is ready for your review. If you do not have an email on file, please reach out to our Member Contact Centre at 1.800.728.6440 to provide one.
How is this fee being charged?
The monthly fee will be debited as a transactional fee per paper statement charged to your account on your statement cycle date.
What if I want to continue receiving paper statements?
After October 1, you may switch back to receiving paper statements through digital banking or by reaching out to our Member Contact Centre at 1.800.728.6440 for help.

Should you choose to receive paper statements, beginning in the spring of 2024, there will be a monthly fee for each paper statements you receive, charged to your account on your statement cycle date. If you do choose to continue receiving paper statements, we encourage you to consider combining statements, where possible.
What about Golden Chequing account members?
The paper statement fee will be waived for all members over 60, regardless of account type.
