How to use Interac e-Transfer® Request Money in online banking

Request Money allows you to send a notification to someone to ask for payment.

  1. Log in to online banking.
  2. On the home page, select Transfers & Payments.
  3. Under Interac e-Transfer, press Request money.
  4. Select a Contact to request money from. Their contact information will automatically be entered based on the contact you select.
  5. Enter the Amount you wish to request.
  6. If you’d like, you can enter an Invoice number, Payment due date, and Message to your request.
  7. Enter the account you wish to Deposit to.
  8. Check the box to confirm you have obtained consent from this contact to request money.
  9. Press Continue.
  10.  Confirm your details and press Continue again. Your contact will have 30 days to accept your request.
