SCU welcomes Jason Moran as new Chief Retail Sales Officer (CRSO)
Glenn Friesen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is pleased to announce that, on February 20, Jason Moran will be joining SCU as the new Chief Retail Sales Officer (CRSO).
Friesen says, “Not only does Jason bring a wealth of experience, he brings a strong commitment and passion for Credit Unions and serving members. We look forward to Jason’s enthusiasm and the leadership he’ll bring to our organization.”
Jason comes to SCU with two decades of experience in finance and business operations. He spent the past four years at Healthcare and Municipal Employees' Credit Union, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Jason has leadership experience as the Director, Member Service for Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, and as a Branch Manager at Assiniboine Credit Union.
“I’ve always been a fan of SCU and have wanted to work for the organization for a long time,” says Moran. “I’m drawn to SCU’s business model and the way it’s structured, which is unique in the credit union system. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to lead such a great group.”
As CRSO, Jason reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for delivering business results and exceptional member experience in all areas of frontline service delivery channels. This includes the development and deployment of strategy for retail branch services, Member Contact Centre, and wealth management.
