Every time you refer someone to SCU, and they join, you'll be entered into our draw to win a $1,000 savings account.
The referred new member linked to the winning member’s contest entry will also be awarded $1,000.
The contest winners can choose a GIC (any term), or have the cash added to an SCU HISA.
One prize will be awarded per branch.

Who can I refer?
Anyone who isn’t already an SCU member such as a friend, family member, or someone new to Canada.
What does my friend need to do for the referral to count?
They need to open a new membership using the same name and email address as mentioned in the referral form.
Do I need to be an SCU member to refer?
No. Anyone who is a Canadian resident (excluding Quebec) can refer someone or enter; you don’t have to be an SCU member. Staff and people living in the same household as staff are not eligible.
How will SCU know it was me who referred my friend?
If the person you referred opens a membership online through the referral link that was sent to them on their email, we’ll automatically know you referred them. If they join in-branch, they must use the same name and email address as mentioned in the referral form.
