Digital banking updates

We’re continually looking for ways to improve our digital banking experience for our members. This includes periodic updates to our online banking and mobile app. Here is an overview of recent and upcoming changes.

March 10, 2024 update

To improve your digital banking experience, we ran a minor digital banking update . Although this update is not mandatory, we encourage you to update your mobile app to receive the best experience possible.

October 17, 2023 update

To better serve you, we enabled a new debit card security feature that allows you to control specific card functions easily within personal and business online and mobile banking. This security feature allows you to choose the types of transactions that can be authorized through your debit cards. Read the FAQs below to discover how you can access these new features.

What security settings can I control through this new feature? 

With this new security feature, you’ll be able to customize your debit card settings from online banking and the mobile app, including the ability to: 
•    Temporarily lock your debit cards to prevent all future transactions.
•    Lock Point-of-Sale transactions to restrict all transactions within Canada, including refunds. 
•    Restrict all Point-of-Sale transactions outside of Canada, including refunds.
•    Restrict all ATM withdrawals performed within Canada.
•    Restrict all ATM withdrawals performed outside Canada.
•    Set ATM and POS "per-transaction" limits for withdrawals and purchases.

Can more than one lock feature be set at the same time?
Yes, multiple security locks can be activated at the same time.
Can I use the lock feature if my card is stolen or missing?
Yes, if you notice your card is missing, we recommend that you immediately lock the card for all transactions to prevent unauthorized access. Then, call us at 1.800.728.6440 to request a card replacement as soon as possible.
