How to cancel an Interac e-Transfer® in the mobile app
This feature is also available in online banking. See our online banking instructions for more details.
- Sign in to the SCU mobile app.
- On the main menu, select More.
- Press Interac e-Transfer settings.
○ Alternatively, you can go to the same menu by selecting Move money, then Interac e-Transfer. - Select History.
- Press the Pending Transactions tab to view the Interac e-Transfer that is available to be canceled.
- Select the Interac e-Transfer you wish to cancel (if you’re using an Android device, press the three dots in the bottom right corner).
- Select Cancel.
- Review the Interac e-Transfer details and press Continue.
- Select Continue again. Once your Interac e-Transfer is cancelled, the funds will be deposited back into your account.
- You can also share this transaction by pressing Share (or press the three dots if you’re using an Android device).
